About Us
We’re a proud Chalmette-based, family-owned construction company with deep Louisiana roots. Our story began in 1980, when our founder started his career in framing, followed by establishing his own construction business in 1990. Although Southern Builders of Louisiana officially opened its doors in 2008, the knowledge, craftsmanship, and values behind our company were built over decades of experience. Today, we bring that same dedication to honest work, quality craftsmanship, and our community to every project we take on across Southeast Louisiana and New Orleans.
