Southern Builders of Louisiana began with a foundation in framing in 1980. In 1990, that experience grew into an independent construction business, laying the groundwork for the company we know today.

In 2008, Southern Builders of Louisiana officially opened its doors, bringing decades of hands-on knowledge and a practical understanding of the building industry to projects throughout Southeast Louisiana.

Based in Chalmette, we remain proud of our Louisiana roots and the communities that have shaped our journey. What began with a background in framing has grown into a family-owned construction company serving a range of commercial, hospitality, multifamily, and residential projects.

Our history continues to guide the way we work today: with care for the details, respect for the people involved, and pride in the finished result.
